1. Eligibility & Registration

Official Authorization: Registrations must be submitted by an authorized teacher or staff member using an official school email address (.school.nz, .ac.nz, or equivalent). Registrations made via personal email addresses will be voided.

Act Allocation: Each school may register a maximum of 5 acts across the tour leg.

First-In, First-Served: Time slots are limited and allocated strictly on a first-come, first-served basis upon calendar booking.

2. Equipment, Power & Performance Rules1. Eligibility & Registration

Low-Tech / Acoustic Only: Performance zones are strictly non-amplified or low-tech (battery-powered amplifiers only). No mains electricity will be provided.

Prohibited Items: Heavy drum kits, full PA systems, smoke machines, or equipment requiring wall power are strictly prohibited.

What We Provide: The Ninja Run provides a single 4x4m branded gazebo for performance space.

What Acts Must Bring: Acts are responsible for providing their own instruments, battery-powered equipment, music stands, and school/act banners or signage.

3. Event Day Check-In & Supervision

Mandatory 40-Minute Check-In: The designated On-Site Contact person must report to the Control Container at least 40 minutes prior to their scheduled performance slot.

Slot Forfeiture: Failure to check in 40 minutes prior may result in immediate cancellation or reassignment of the performance slot to another act. Each act will be allotted a 60 minute session to perform. We encourage the full use of the 60 minutes but understand if an act’s repertoire falls slightly short of a full hour's worth of content.

Social media: Consent to usage of image and video is given as footage may be taken to promote The Ninja Run or your music act. Social sharing is strongly encouraged.

5. Event Operations & Weather

Volume & Content Control: The Ninja Run event staff reserve the right to lower performance volume or stop any performance that includes inappropriate language, unsafe behavior, or content deemed unsuitable for a family audience.

Weather & Cancellations: In the event of severe weather or event schedule changes, The Ninja Run reserves the right to adjust, shorten, or cancel performance slots without liability.
